Where Krapla is going

A public roadmap. No date promises — just an honest list of what works, what's in testing, what's planned, and what we deliberately won't build.

Krapla was born from a real need — bookkeeping for the "Mokryi Nosyk" animal-rescue NGO in the Volyn region of Ukraine. So we grow it toward "what users actually need", not "what's trending". If your idea isn't in the list — drop a note via the 💬 button in the bottom-right of the dashboard.

  • AI categorization — type "dog food 1200" and the AI picks the type, amount, and category
  • AI learns from corrections — fix the AI once, it'll get it right next time for the same phrase
  • AI insights — a "What Krapla noticed" card on the home screen: 2-3 gentle observations about last month's spending (biggest category, changes, balance). No judgment, no pressure
  • Analytics — a dedicated page: income and expenses by month (bars), a category breakdown (donuts), and totals for the chosen period
  • Multiplication in descriptions — "2 bags × 340" or "10 × 680" → Krapla works out the total for you
  • Writing tips — click 💡 above the input to see good/bad examples
  • Receipt photo recognition — preview with checkboxes before saving; edit amounts, descriptions, categories; big phone photos auto-resize
  • Quick add from the home screen — AI / manual / photo, all in one place
  • Monobank statement import — upload CSV (jar or card) → AI categorization → review → done. Duplicates are filtered out automatically
  • Custom categories — make your own besides the built-in 33 (personal) / 25 (organization): name, color, icon
  • Onboarding for new users — sign-up asks "personal finances or organization?" and instantly creates the first budget with the right categories
  • Multiple budgets — personal or shared (with owner / member / viewer roles), editable
  • CSV export — download all transactions any time
  • Phone app (PWA) — "Add to home screen", launches full-screen and looks like a native app
  • Soft streak — a plant that grows as you log daily. NO push notifications, NO toxic "you broke a 0-day streak" guilt-trips
  • Two languages — Ukrainian and English, fully localized including categories
  • No dark patterns — strictly-necessary cookies, plain-language Privacy + Terms, zero user analytics
